Okay, so he doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of criminals, but here's Parker wearing his Batman costume!

It's not the Batmobile, but we bought Parker one of those crazy Little Tikes cars that all the playgroups seem to have.  So far it's a big hit!  It's funny to see him just sitting in it, hanging out.

Parker's really fascinated by the beams of light that come in through the front window next to the door.  They make little patterns on the floor, and he likes to stand in them so his shadow makes them go away.  Then he moves, and they come back, and he stares at them for a bit.  Then he walks through them again.

He might not be fighting crime, but he likes to push little cars across the floor while making engine sounds.

Here's a little photo essay of our day today!  The snow melted and it was nice out again!  Hooray!

It was nice out!  A bit windy, but the temperature on the car readout said 10 degrees.

Playing with the door-lock buttons.  He really likes it when things make a clicking sound, so he'll push the buttons over and over again while going, "Click!  Click!"  He does this with the clips on his high chair, too.

First stop:  the bank.  I wonder if they'll look at the security camera footage, see a guy with a camera, and freak out?

Then we went to Rotary Park because they have a pretty awesome play structure.  We're hoping to go there a lot when it gets warmer, because the park is awesome (swings, slides, a crazy play structure thing) and it's also next to Lemoine Point, which is also awesome and great for hiking.  It's also next to the airport, and we saw an airplane landing, which Parker loved.

More of the play structure.  After you run up a ramp, you have the option of going down multiple slides (although one is certainly a slide of DOOM, because it's 5 million feet in the air).  Parker actually hurt himself on a slide a few weeks ago at the Playtrium so now he's mildly traumatized I think.  He rolled over onto his tummy on the way down and smashed his mouth, giving himself a bloody lip.  So now he goes over towards the yellow swirly slide, points at it and says, "Slide!!!"  When I ask, "Want to go down the slide?" he usually answers, "Okay!" but then when I get him closer he says, "Bye bye slide!  Bye bye!" and gets all nervous and wants to leave.  So one day we'll conquer the slide again.

After the park, we stopped at Taco Bell to pick up lunch for Mommy.  She bravely took some old left-overs to work, but we were nervous about her eating them.  So she got Combo #2 instead.

After the visit to April's school, we went home, had lunch, and then took a nap!  Hooray!

Throw It Doooowwwwwn, Big Man! Throw It Down!

Since the weather is getting nicer, we wanted to get Parker some outdoor toys to play with!  I'm a huge basketball fan so we picked up this awesome Little Tike basketball net!  How could you NOT buy it with a photo on the box like this?

He was so psyched up after his jam that he did a little dance while laughing and cheering.  He's lucky he didn't get a technical for taunting.  Here he is with a second jam.

Kindermusik and Friends!

April has been taking Parker to an AWESOME class on Saturday mornings called Kindermusik, where they play instruments and sing songs and dance, and they've been having a blast!  It was their last class for this "semester" on Saturday, so I brought my camera and took a few photos.  We signed up for the next one, though, because April and Parker have such a blast!  Here's the Kingston School of Music where the magic happens.  I played some drums in the music store for a bit while April and Parker busted a move upstairs.

Then after Kindermusik, we went to visit some friends -- the Ross Family!  I know Kristyne through a few forums, and we've met up at the Playtrium a few times as well, so it was good to get everyone together for a change!  Here are some photos of Parker and his new BFF Gabriel being goofy.
