Painting And Crawling (but not at the same time)

Santa brought Parker an easel for Christmas but so far he's only used markers on it.  We took it outside the other day and set up the paints for him to test out.  Here he is doing some scribbles and some swirls in his mis-matched jammies.

Two brushes at once!

And while Parker was busy outside painting, Lauren was busy inside crawling around and being cute.

Here she comes!

Don't tell Parker, but Lauren was playing with Baby.  He's always afraid she's going to drool on it and get it wet.

The new face she makes all the time.

We took her for another hair cut the other day so her hair is actually shorter than this now.  Parker got a cut, too, because his hair was crazy long and wavy!  Lauren also has another tooth on the bottom and she's super cute.

Playdate With Evan

Here are some photos that Kareen took from a playdate the other day!  I stole them from Facebook.  Mwahahaha....  Thanks, Kareen!

Mr. Independent

Lately we've been trying to give Parker a lot more freedom when he's in the house or when we're out doing stuff.  He's finally getting up by himself in the morning, which is funny and kind of scary at the same time.  Sometimes we'll wake up and hear his little feet running around downstairs.  And sometimes he'll come into our room and wake us up with the ominous message, "Hey Daddy, come down stairs.  I have a surprise to show you...."  He's getting really good at doing things by himself, though, which is great to see!  He'll need to be super independent when he goes to school in September so I'm glad he has more confidence than he used to.
Here are some photos of Parker and Lauren goofing around!

Check out the mosquito bites on Parker's leg!  He reacts like me and they get all swollen and gross-looking.

Canada Day in Bath

On Friday we went to Bath for the annual Canada Day parade!  It was pretty hot in the sun but luckily there was a nice breeze in the shade.  Here are some photos!
Parker wanted to ride in the stroller, which he's probably too big for and hasn't done in a loooong time.  So I took a photo.  He looks bored!
