Photos!

Here are lots of photos from our hospital stay.  We went in on Monday morning for an ultrasound and the technician said April's amniotic fluid levels were really low, so they wanted to get us admitted and induced right away.  After a few days of different treatments, we finally went into the labour and delivery room at around 7 pm last night.  Unfortunately things kind of stalled for a bit and we didn't end up having the baby until 3:20 in the morning.  But April did great, the baby did great, and everyone is doing well!  Lauren Grace Elliott weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and was about 19.5 inches long.

Here's April looking so peaceful and happy!  Pain?  What pain?
Oh yeah, the pain of pushing a baby out of your crotch.  Here's April getting to meet Lauren for the first time after her birth!
Kisses for baby Lauren!

So far Lauren has been really laid back and calm!  Here she is checking out mommy.
Here I am looking like I just pushed a baby out of my crotch, but in actuality I'm just a bit sleepy.  I think this was after we had about an hour of sleep.
Hooray for babies!
Lauren being super cute.  It's hard not to compare her to Parker, because that's all we know!  So far I think she looks a lot like he did as a newborn -- they have the same-shaped eyes, and the same mouth and chin, and the same ears, and the same toes.  Lauren has WAY more hair, though -- it's crazy long and dark brown.
Parker came for a visit today at the hospital to meet baby sister for the first time.  He patted her on the head and said she was tiny but cute and nice.
Striking a pose with crossed arms for some reason!

Zzzzzzz......
Parker's baby toes also kind of go underneath his second-last toes (mine do, too).
First bath ever!  That's Maria the nurse's arm doing the bathing.
Being clean isn't so bad after all.
Babies are so tiny!
Crazy hair and magic Nana blanket.
Hopefully they'll let us out of the hospital tomorrow because it feels like we've been here forever, and there's only so much Jello a person can eat.
