Two Teeth!
Lauren has two teeth now! They're just cute little stubs on the bottom but they're out! I remember when Parker first had teeth I searched the internet for a Family Guy reference but it wasn't online. Guess what? Now it is.
Go, Dog, Go!
On the back of some of Parker's Dr. Seuss books there's a list of other books, and one of them that we've been talking about for a while is Go, Dog, Go! While I was at Chapters yesterday I saw a copy so I picked it up! April went to read it to him last night before bed and Parker read the entire thing all by himself! All 64 pages! He's a reading machine!

More Photos
Some photos from our day. Here's Parker doing his printing practice. He's working on the letter M but seems more interested in tracing everything besides the letter M.
Trying not to smile because he knew I was taking photos. NO PRESSURE! DON'T MESS UP!
Also, for those who didn't know, Parker is a lefty, just like Papa, Lita, and Auntie Claire!
Lauren says hi!
Om nom nom nom!
Gums look weird without teeth.
Wide angle distortion looks funny.
Lauren's Favourite Song
Lauren's favourite song right now? The Salt-N-Pepa classic "Push It". She thinks it's hilarious!
Next up: C+C Music Factory.

Parker Wrote His Name!
A few weeks ago some of the kids in Parker's nursery school were writing their names by themselves and we felt left out! So we decided to put more emphasis on writing because Parker doesn't ever really seem that interested in colouring or doing much of anything that involves a pencil. Every day before lunch we've had "printing practice" where he gets to practice writing one of the letters of the alphabet on a dry-erase board thing that April bought somewhere (Winners, maybe?). I think the last letter they worked on was K when Parker decided to write his name by himself on a piece of paper while April was feeding Lauren. Here is his masterpiece:
He forgot the stick on the letter k, but considering we had no idea he could write his name on his own I'd say that's a pretty good first step!

Feeling Better!
Stunned baby:
Happy baby:
April, Parker, and Lauren are finally starting to feel better! Hooray! Parker still has a bit of a gross phlegmy cough but he's acting mostly normal again without a fever. And Lauren doesn't have a fever any more, either, but she's still kind of snotty and has a cough. She also has two teeth now on the bottom! Hooray x2!

Sick Kids!
Both of our kids have been pretty sick for the last week, so we haven't done much except try to keep them happy! Parker started last Monday night by puking in the middle of the night and then he woke up the next day with a fever. We kept him home from school on Tuesday and he seemed better by Wednesday. Then on Sunday he seemed to break out in a fever again with a bad cough. We kept hoping Lauren would magically avoid the germs filling our house but she fell prey to the illness the other day. She's all stuffy and runny and having a hard time sleeping. She had a bit of a fever and cough tonight but I think it's getting better. Although now April is getting really sick, too! Colds and flus and stuff suck. Here's a funny photo, though!

Christmas Photos Part 2 and 3
Here are the next rounds of Christmas photos (since we already had Christmas in Dresden earlier in the month). This is everything set out before we went to bed.
Parker left some milk and cookies for Santa along with a note that said, "Dear Santa, here are some cookies and milk for you. Thank you for the presents. Love, Parker".
Christmas morning!
What to open first?!?
zomg an M&M dispenser!!!!111
Oooooo, a book!
Om nom nom nom....
Then we went to Brockville for Christmas #3! Here are April's grandparents with Lauren.
Claire and Lauren. She can't steal her because we know where she lives.
Kellen playing with his remote controlled car.
Darryl and Lauren hanging out.
Ali, Darryl, and Lauren laughing about a funny joke.
Parker and Ella in the bath (Kellen is there too but I couldn't fit him in the frame).
Lauren laughing at something Great Nana is saying.
Baby Ella eating breakfast.
Hey Lauren, you know what you need?
A Headbutt!
Quiet time.
Grandpa and Lauren reminiscing about the good ol' days.
Lita gets Parker these egg things that hatch animals. This time it was an alligator! Parker thinks they're awesome.
We went over to a big gigantic snow hill for some tobogganing! Here's Uncle Shawn and Kellen going 3,000 mph down the hill!
Here's Parker saying, "I don't think I want to go down the big hill, Daddy."
But at least he could clap about it.
Darryl and Ella enjoying a nice wintery day.
Even though going down the hill is awesome, coming back up isn't so awesome.
Auntie Claire and Parker (they played a counting game while I went down the hill a bunch of times).
Everyone!
Parker and Kellen playing with Lauren's mailbox toy.
One of Parker's favourite things at Lita and Grandpa's house is the treadmill.
Playing with his new Leapster writing thing!
Levi and Lauren.
Levi loooooves Lauren.
Lita loooooves Lauren too.
They both collectively looooove Lauren.
We had a family movie night after everyone's bath! We ate popcorn, had some hot chocolate, and watched "Frosty Returns", which has a strange Jonathan Winters fairy. Yes, it's as weird as it sounds.
Thanks for the awesome Christmases, everyone!
