New Dresses!

April's friend and co-worker Lisa made Lauren a bunch of crazy awesome homemade dresses!  Check out Lisa's sewing skills.
Cheeeeeese!
Lauren loves stuffed animals.  Here she is trying to get Baby.

Parker (who is mostly anti-photo lately) actually requested a photo of him and Baby.

More teeth coming in.  Can you tell?

 Cute girls!
 Lauren looks very serious.

Thanks for the awesome dresses, Lisa!  (I say dresses although these photos just show one dress -- the next bunch of posts will show other dresses)

STRAWBERRY PICKING?!?!?!

April, Lauren and I were hanging out in our bedroom and we could hear Parker shuffling around downstairs, rummaging through things.  We heard his little footsteps coming up the stairs.  Then we heard him crash through the gate, and it sounded like he had something in his hands.  He busted into our room with two baskets in each hand and he looked at us and shouted, "STRAWBERRY PICKING?????"  He's crazy, yo!

Parker And Mommy Day

April took Parker to see The Wiggles in Toronto this morning!  She sent me some photos on her cell phone.  Here's Parker in front of the Ricoh Coliseum.
Here's Parker looking a bit worried.  The show should be starting any second now, but he was concerned that it was going to be really dark and loud I think.  The awesomeness of The Wiggles will help him get over it.  :D
Meanwhile, we're having a Lauren and Daddy day at home!  I've taken a few photos but haven't transferred them over yet.  I'll add more tonight!

Concert With Alison

We went to the library downtown today to check out a concert by Alison Gowan from Parker's old Kindermusik class!  Parker loooooved Kindermusik so it was great to see Alison again!  We're hoping to sign Lauren up in the fall if there's space.  Here are some photos from the concert.
Lauren looks unsure of what she's about to experience.
 Alison singing an awesome song.
 Lauren likes it.
Parker was pretty shy when we got there and wanted to sit with me but then he randomly stood up and busted loose with a crazy dance to a really fast song Alison was singing.  It had something to do with a tree in a hole and a bird in a nest on a branch.

 Cheeeeeese!
Getting ready to be a train and walk around the room in a line while going, "Choooo choooo!" to a song about trains.

Dear Grapes, please get in my tummy.  Signed, your friend, Lauren.
Alison even broke out some mad skills on the hurdy gurdy!

 Lauren looooved the music!

She was waving her arms a lot and smiling.  It could have been a buzz from the grapes, though.

When we got home, Parker was in a musical mood and we did a duet of "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse and it was awesome.  He hasn't heard that song in ages but he remembered all the parts and melodies!  Best duet partner ever.

Playdate With Milo

We were able to have Milo over for a playdate recently when Scott and Gemma moved into a new house!  Here are some photos of our day, which consisted of eating, hanging out, napping, and cutting the lawn.
Mmmm....  lunch.....
Lauren says, "HEEEEY YOOOOU GUUUUUYS"!
 He's sitting next to Lauren!
Mmmm...  cucumber....
Haha, Milo has the best smile.  I have no idea what we were laughing about but this photo makes me laugh every time I see it.

 Eating a cookie for dessert.
Milo did an awesome job mowing my lawn.
Just a bit of chocolate chip on his face.
Weeeeee!  Although Parker looks kind of bored.  Wee.
 Mow mow mow....
Playing with the sand table, driving some boats around.
 Scoop up the mud!
 And dump it out!
 And do it again!
 And dump it out again!

They actually spontaneously hugged but I was upstairs getting something.  So when I came down I grabbed my camera and made them hug again.  I'm a task master like that.
 Awwww!
Thanks for the playdate!
