Over the past few years, the parent council at Parker's school has been raising funds towards a literacy campaign and a few weeks ago they finally reached their goal of $20,000! To celebrate, every student was allowed to choose one book from a stack of a thousand to take home and enjoy. And they also got to eat cake. :D
